Senior DevOps/SRE Engineer

Your role: - Help develop and maintain DevCloudCICD Ansible Deployer, a platform enabling CI/CD for over 35,000 deployments across several different business divisions, as we re-engineer it to leverage containers and cloud technologies with Azure and Kubernetes - Help Users to migrate from legacy technologies to Ansible - Participate in design and develop the next generation of development tooling using centered around Git Ops and Infrastructure As Code - Work as part of an agile development team - Collaborate with other global IT teams - Perform level 3 support, assisting production operations team in rollout and support-related matters Your expertise: - 7+ years of experience in design, developing, monitoring and troubleshooting scalable, secure, fail-tolerant systems - Applied solutions to cater for non-functional requirements including stability, manageability, scalability, capacity and performance - Expert in containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service, Helm) - Extensive experience navigating and understanding Windows, Linux OS and OS internals - Unix / Windows command line tools knowledge - Knowledge of Infrastructure as code tooling (e.g Terraform, Ansible, Puppet) - Experience programming in Go (Java, Python, Ruby) as a benefit - Understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD experience in automated environments (Gitlab a plus) - Working SQL knowledge (Oracle, Postgres) - Experience working with Agile methodologies, especially Scrum - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, and ability to work as part of a global team About Us: UBS is the world's largest and the only truly global wealth manager operating through four business divisions: Global Wealth Management, Personal & Corporate Banking, Asset Management, and the Investment Bank.
