Senior Devops Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and management of scalable cloud infrastructure and automation pipelines. This role is critical to ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient operations across our Azure cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD tools, Kubernetes, and strong scripting capabilities in Python and Bash.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, provision, and manage cloud environments using Terraform and Ansible
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitHub
• Optimize Kubernetes clusters for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for consistent environment provisioning
• Create and manage backup and restore routines across cloud platforms
• Apply and enforce cloud security policies and participate in threat modeling
• Monitor system performance, capacity, and reliability
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline delivery
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Maintain configuration management using tools like Puppet or Chef

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or related roles

Skills Needed

• Strong expertise in Azure infrastructure, Kubernetes, and Azure DevOps is mandatory

• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and GitHub is required; flexibility allowed based on depth of knowledge
• Proficient in scripting and programming, especially with Python and Bash
• Experience with Linux and Windows system administration
• Familiarity with cloud security practices and compliance standards
• Exposure to DevOps solutions across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is highly desirable
