About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Design Engineer with strong expertise in mechanical design and product development. The candidate will be responsible for leading design projects, preparing detailed engineering drawings, and ensuring design compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute the design and development of vacuum systems, industrial equipment, and related products.
• Create 2D/3D models, detailed engineering drawings, and BOMs using CAD software (SolidWorks/AutoCAD/Creo).
• Review and validate designs for manufacturability, performance, and safety.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and service teams to resolve design-related issues.
• Conduct design calculations, material selection, and tolerance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, ASME, and other applicable industry standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Drive design improvements and cost optimization initiatives.
• Support customer requirements by providing technical solutions and design modifications.

Desired Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, fabrication, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience in vacuum systems/rotating equipment (preferred).
• Problem-solving ability with a focus on innovation and optimization.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and team collaboration skills.
