Role Overview: As a SQL Database Developer, your primary responsibility will be to analyze, develop SSIS projects, custom reports, and work closely with the team to address any SQL issues. You will play a crucial role in handling ETL processes, transmission, encryption, archiving of files, and designing and maintaining database tables and stored procedures. Key Responsibilities: - Develop SSIS projects for ETL processes, transmission, encryption, and archiving of files - Design, develop, and maintain database tables, stored procedures, and supporting objects - Build and support operational reports for the company and clients - Collaborate with the data team to provide operational support and resolve recurring problems - Document the database topology, architecture, processes, and procedures - Develop SQL queries and assist with ad hoc data requests - Assist in capacity planning and resource expansion through data aggregation and analysis - Collaborate with project managers to ensure reports and metrics align with business needs and identify opportunities for process improvement - Identify inefficiencies in the database platform, propose solutions to management, and assist in problem resolution - Use problem-solving skills to address business and technical challenges, identify root causes, and propose preventive solutions Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology - Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Database Engineer or related role - At least 2 years of experience with C# and/or VB.NET - Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices - Proficiency in writing and troubleshooting SQL code, designing stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, and constraints - Extensive knowledge of MS SQL Server 2012 or later, SSRS, SSIS, and T-SQL - Technical expertise in MS SQL Server internals with a focus on query performance - Ability to troubleshoot potential issues and implement best practices in database operations - Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and handle multiple complex projects efficiently Note: Working Conditions details have been omitted as they are not relevant for the job description.
