Senior Data Analyst

A US-based alternative asset management (Real Estate Developer and Property Management) company is looking for a senior data analyst.

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain complex reports using

  MS

  Power BI

  .
• Create interactive & static visualizations, including graphs and charts, maps, and tables for use by internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the IT Data Analyst to design and create Power BI data sources that support company-wide reporting needs.
• Extend the capability of reporting through statistical analysis and metrics reporting.

Preferred candidate profile

• 4-7 years of demonstrated professional experience in

  MS Power BI

  ; a combination of experience in

  Power BI

  and a similar toolset, such as

  Tableau

  or SAS Analytics,

  may be considered.
• Expertise in designing and building complex data sets, dashboards and reports utilizing Power BI and/or similar tools.
• Demonstrated experience using

  SQL

  (Structured Query Language) to query databases and extract relevant data.
• Working knowledge of data science/analysis programming languages such as

  R or Python

  .
• Skilled in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
• Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.
• Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment.
• Experience with Shapefiles
