Senior Co-ordinator/ Manager - Communications and Marketing

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Coordinator/ Manager Communications and Marketing to manage ASME India's brand positioning, outreach efforts, and engagement strategies. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in corporate communications, digital marketing, and campaign management, preferably within the non-profit, education, or engineering domain.

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated communication and marketing strategies to support ASME Indias programs, events, and outreach activities.
• Manage digital campaigns (social media, email, SEO/SEM) to drive engagement, visibility, and lead generation.
• Oversee content development for newsletters, press releases, brochures, and website updates.
• Coordinate media relations and public relations efforts, including press interactions and media coverage.
• Liaise with cross-functional and global teams to ensure Consistent brand messaging and alignment.
• Monitor campaign performance using analytics tools and provide regular reports on KPIs.
• Support internal communications and employee engagement initiatives.
• Manage vendors and external partners (agencies, designers, event firms) as needed.
• Represent ASME India at conferences and industry forums when required.

Preferred candidate profile

• Masters degree in communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in communications and marketing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Hands-on experience with digital tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, WordPress, social media platforms).
• Exceptional project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Knowledge or background in engineering, STEM, or technical industries is a strong plus.
