Senior Backend Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python (Flask, FastAPI).
• Architect and implement scalable and resilient systems based on microservice principles.
• Optimize REST APIs for speed, scalability, and reliability.
• Implement secure coding practices and ensure data protection in system design.
• Work with ElasticSearch, Redis, RabbitMQ, MySQL, and PostgreSQL to build efficient, data-driven applications.
• Build reusable components and ensure maintainable, high-quality code.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, supporting their technical and professional growth

Preferred candidate profile

• 5 years of proven experience in backend development.
• Strong programming skills in Python with hands-on experience in Flask and FastAPI.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and familiarity with design patterns.
• Proven experience building scalable architectures and working with
  microservices.
• Hands-on experience with ElasticSearch, Redis, RabbitMQ, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
• Experience in optimizing application performance and debugging production issues.
• Awareness of application security best practices (authentication, authorization, data encryption, secure APIs).
• Ability to mentor and lead junior engineers effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset
