Senior Backend Developer (Java, NodeJS)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure backend applications using Java, Spring Boot and Node.js.
• Develop RESTful APIs, integrate with external systems, and ensure end-to-end solution quality.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following industry best practices (SOLID, design patterns, microservices architecture).
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture design sessions.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in production environments
  

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Node.js with strong hands-on experience in building applications using Express.js.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java 8+ and Spring Boot framework.
• Experience building microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Strong experience in unit testing (JUnit, Mockito, Jest) and integration testing.
• Good to have experience on React.js, Redux.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Hands-on with cloud platforms (AWS, OpenShift, Kubernetes).
• Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (Splunk, Dynatrace).
• Experience in Agile Scrum/Kanban
• Healthcare/PBM domain experience is a plus.
