What You Will Do

  • Work in an agile team of developers, QA, DevOps, and founders.
  • Design, develop, and maintain backend systems to support evolving business requirements.
  • Optimize and refactor legacy codebases to improve performance and scalability.
  • Integrate with REST and GraphQL APIs.
  • Collaborate with the frontend team to ensure smooth data flow and integration.
  • Write and maintain test cases, ensuring high code quality through Test Driven Development.
  • Research, recommend, and implement backend architecture and technology improvements.


Skills & Requirements

  • Backend Expertise:

    5+ years overall, with at least 3 years dedicated to backend development using Node.js, Express, Sequelize.

  • Database Experience:

    MySQL and/or PostgreSQL.
  • Strong understanding of REST and GraphQL APIs.
  • Proficient with Git for version control.
  • Familiarity with automated task runners such as Grunt or Gulp.
  • Experience with integration testing, release management, work estimation, and planning.
  • Passionate about writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Bonus: Experience with

    Nest.js

  • Bonus: Active contributions to open-source projects.
