Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

Role Overview: As an Azure DevOps engineer, you will be responsible for having a deep understanding of container principles and hands-on experience with Docker. You should also be capable of setting up and managing clusters using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). Additionally, you will need to understand API management, Azure Key-Vaults, ACR, networking concepts like virtual networks, subnets, NSG, and route tables. It is essential to have awareness of software such as Apigee, Kong, or APIM in Azure. Strong experience with IaC technologies like Terraform, ARM/ Bicep Templates, GitHub Pipelines, and Sonar is also required. Key Responsibilities: - Designing DevOps strategies, including recommending strategies for migrating and consolidating DevOps tools, designing an Agile work management approach, and creating a secure development process - Implementing DevOps development processes such as designing version control strategies, integrating source control, and managing build infrastructure - Managing application configuration and secrets to ensure system and infrastructure availability, stability, scalability, and performance - Automating processes, overseeing code releases, and deployments with a focus on continuous integration and delivery - Collaborating with teams, working with architects and developers to ensure smooth code integration, and collaborating with development and operations teams to define pipelines - Documentation, including producing detailed Development Architecture design, setting up DevOps tools, and integrating automated CI and CD pipelines with those tools - Ensuring security and compliance/DevSecOps by managing code quality and security policies - Troubleshooting issues by investigating and responding to customer queries Qualifications Required: - Deep understanding of container principles and hands-on experience with Docker - Ability to set up and manage clusters using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) - Understanding of API management, Azure Key-Vaults, ACR, and networking concepts like virtual networks, subnets, NSG, and route tables - Awareness of software like Apigee, Kong, or APIM in Azure - Strong experience with IaC technologies like Terraform, ARM/ Bicep Templates, GitHub Pipelines, and Sonar Additional Details: The company is looking for a self-starter with the ability to execute tasks on time. Excellent communication skills are required along with the ability to come up with multiple solutions for problems and interact with client-side experts to resolve issues by providing correct pointers.
