Senior Azure Databricks Engineer

As a Senior Databricks Engineer at MLAI_Digital, you will be responsible for working on-site in Mumbai to deliver solutions on the Azure Cloud using core cloud data warehouse tools like Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL DW, and other Big Data related technologies. Your main focus will be on building the next generation of application data platforms and improving recent implementations. This role requires expertise in analyzing data, developing strategies for populating data lakes, and complex coding using U-SQL, Scala or Python, and T-SQL. **Key Responsibilities:** - Implementing Data warehousing Solutions - Programming experience in Scala or Python, SQL - Hands-on experience in Azure stack (Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks) - Good understanding of Azure services like Azure Data Lake Analytics & U-SQL, Azure SQL DW - Building data analytics solutions on Azure Databricks platform - Applying analytical and problem-solving skills in a big data environment - Understanding of Modern Data Warehouse/Lambda Architecture, Data warehousing concepts - Proficient in source code control systems like GIT - Ability to code and create technical documentation using Word - Knowledge of C# **Qualifications Required:** - Expertise in any ETL tool (SSIS, Informatica, Data Stage) - Experience as a Data Engineer in an Azure Big Data Environment - Good understanding of Azure Databricks platform - Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English - Soft skills like being flexible, a self-starter, and a team player or individual contributor MLAI_Digital is a GenAI_Agentic Specialised Organisation with domain expertise in Financial Institutions and Fraud Analytics for Financial Transactions.
