Job Summary:

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks (ADB), SQL, and Pyspark, with hands-on expertise in building and optimizing scalable data pipelines and end-to-end ETL workflows in the Azure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Databricks integrated with various data sources and cloud platforms.
• Create and manage ETL workflows and orchestrate pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Develop Databricks Jobs for efficient data processing, data quality validation, and report generation.
• Perform advanced SQL/T-SQL queries and optimizations to support business analytics.
• Collaborate in code and design reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables and maintain coding standards.
• Implement automation across Azure stack for data ingestion, transformation, and validation processes.
• Utilize Python and Pyspark for data manipulation, transformation, and automation tasks.
• Optimize data querying and processing layers to support performance and analytical needs.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 8+ years of experience working with Azure-based data solutions.

Strong proficiency in:

• Azure Databricks (ADB)
• Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• SQL / TSQL
• Pyspark
• Python

Experience with Azure services like:

• Azure Data Lake
• Azure SQL Database / SQL Server
• Solid understanding of data engineering best practices and cloud-based ETL strategies.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines for data deployments.
• Knowledge of data security, governance, and monitoring in the Azure ecosystem.
