Senior Automation Tester

To be successful as a Senior Automation Tester, you should have experience with test automation tools such as Selenium and Cucumber Framework. Create automation test strategies, provide automation estimations, identify automation scenarios, and have a strong understanding of BDD. Hands-on experience in automation development and execution using Selenium Web Driver and Cucumber, Java or JavaScript. Additionally, be well-versed in CI/CD/Jenkins, GitHub, have good knowledge of the Banking Domain, team management skills, and be proficient in test status reporting. Highly valued skills may include knowledge on Flexcube. This role is based out of Pune. Purpose of the role: To design, develop, and execute testing strategies to validate functionality, performance, and user experience. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects, continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to ensure software quality and reliability. Accountabilities: - Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies to validate software functionality and ensure compliance with established quality standards. - Create and execute automated test scripts, leveraging testing frameworks and tools for early detection of defects and quality issues. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, participate in design discussions, and contribute to the development of acceptance criteria. - Perform root cause analysis for identified defects, work closely with developers to support defect resolution. - Participate in code reviews, promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing. - Stay informed of industry technology trends, actively contribute to the organization's technology communities for technical excellence and growth.
