Senior Automation Test Engineer

As a Senior Automation Test Engineer with 5 years of experience or above in software testing and automation, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Playwright, Cypress, and other tools. Your proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript will be invaluable for executing API automation testing and ensuring the functionality and performance of backend services. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will create test plans, analyze results, and identify defects to enhance product quality. An ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with strong knowledge of automation testing tools like Playwright, Cypress, and Selenium. Experience in API automation testing using tools such as RestAssured or Postman, proficiency in programming languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, and Java, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems are essential for this role. Additionally, your excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills will be key to your success in continuously improving testing processes and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness. In this role, you will document test cases, results, and defects clearly and concisely, stay updated with industry trends and best practices in test automation, and participate in code reviews to enhance test automation practices.
