Job Description

Security, privacy, and compliance is of paramount importance to our customers when investing in and using business applications, platforms and infrastructure in the Cloud.

The successful applicant will support sales and customer engagement teams, working to build trust with customers and helping them with their security, privacy, and compliance needs.

The following are the key tasks required of this role:

Serve as an advisor to key customer technology and business stakeholders on security, privacy, and compliance topics, establishing trust-based relationships through active engagement and collaboration
Lead customer discussions, presentations, and workshops on SAP s security, privacy, and compliance standards for both cloud and hybrid solutions including AI
Provide expert support for responses to customer and partner questions, questionnaires, and risk assessments on security, privacy, and compliance topics including AI
Identify and manage cyber security compliance risks related to customers and the Indian market
Support Field Legal and other commercial teams on cyber security topics
Coordinate closely with internal product and corporate security and compliance teams to act as a subject matter expert facilitating compliance and managing customer escalations
Apply and communicate comprehensive knowledge of relevant and continuously evolving security and privacy regulations and frameworks in India with a focus on Public Sector and Regulated Industry
Educate SAP customers, partners, and internal teams on important security, privacy, and compliance aspects of SAP Cloud including AI through regular interaction and creation of scalable digital assets

What you bring

We are looking for a highly motivated, creative and customer-focused team member to join the SAP Asia Pacific Cybersecurity and Compliance Advisory team as a Cybersecurity and Compliance Advisor. You will need to be comfortable with working independently, taking ownership as a subject matter expert and managing a steep learning curve in a dynamic environment.

These three capabilities are key to the role:

Executive Presence Must have business communication skills, comfortable presenting to C-level executives
Cloud Competence Strong working knowledge of security and compliance considerations for cloud and hybrid environments
Lifelong Learner Passion for self-development to gain in-depth understanding of the SAP security strategy and solution portfolio, regulatory requirements, industry trends, and executive presence

For work experience we have the following preferences:

10-15 years of experience in cyber security or related technical and compliance domains especially working with or in in Public Sector and Regulated Industry
Broad experience with SAP solutions across the portfolio preferred
Experience with SAP Cloud security and compliance including AI preferred
CISSP, CCSP, CRISC or other major cyber security-related certification preferred

We have team members in Tokyo, Seoul, Shanghai, Delhi, Singapore, Sydney, Brisbane and Auckland. We also have connections to our SAP counterparts in other parts of the globe.
The Cyber Security Compliance Advisory are the experts called in to help our largest and most complex customers across the APAC region. We are acknowledged as thought leaders and creative problem solvers, and thrive on new challenges and opportunities to learn.
