Senior Applications Engineer

As a member of the mmWave Automotive Radar Group, you will be part of a team dedicated to improving safety in future cars through the development of high-performance sensors for collision avoidance and pedestrian detection using cutting-edge technology. Your role will involve building reference designs for Automotive Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Automated Parking, as well as collaborating with the marketing team to support product launches and provide direct assistance to key automotive customers. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical applications support to the company's sales staff, Field Applications Engineers, and Mass Market customer support, as well as offering direct support to customers. - Collaborate with 3rd parties to integrate their solutions into the mmWave Radar Ecosystem. - Create reference designs that require system design expertise, hardware and software integration, and verification knowledge. - Develop fully functional demonstration systems in the form of C/C++ code to help customers solve technical issues. - Work with cross-functional teams throughout the concept-to-production process of System on Chip (SoC). - Generate technical documentation such as Technical Reference Manuals (TRM), application notes, data sheets, user guides, design notes, and white papers. - Conduct internal and customer training through events like FAE summits, TI Tech Days, or written materials. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. - Strong background in high frequency millimeter wave technology. - Experience with system design, hardware, and software integration. - Proficiency in C/C++ programming. - Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams. - Prior experience in ADAS or radar technology is a plus.,
