About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Android Architect with a deep understanding of Kotlin and Jetpack Compose to lead the architecture, design, and development of our Android applications. As a key technical leader, you will drive the overall mobile strategy, implement best practices, and ensure the delivery of high-performance, scalable, and maintainable applications. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative solutions while mentoring developers and upholding the highest standards of Android development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Define and maintain the technical roadmap for Android development, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
• Design modular, reusable, and scalable architecture for high-performance mobile applications.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure the use of best practices in development, testing, and performance optimization.
• Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor team members to drive technical excellence.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest Android trends, libraries, and frameworks, and ensure their effective implementation.
• Drive the adoption of modern Android development techniques, including MVVM/MVI architecture, Coroutines, and Dependency Injection (Hilt/Dagger).

Requirements:

• 8+ years of professional Android development experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Proven expertise in building complex Android architectures using patterns such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, and MVI.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, including Coroutines, Flows, and concurrency management.
• Experience with dependency injection frameworks like Hilt or Dagger.
• Expertise in performance optimization, memory management, and efficient UI rendering using Jetpack Compose.
• Hands-on experience with version control systems (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
• Ability to architect solutions that integrate with RESTful APIs, gRPC, and other backend services.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with experience guiding teams and mentoring developers.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMM).
• Familiarity with Google’s Material Design principles and building responsive UIs.
• Experience with Android Jetpack libraries (Navigation, Room, LiveData, etc.).
• Experience with app distribution and Play Store submission processes.
• Familiarity with cloud-based services and mobile security best practices.
