Senior Android Developer

As a Visual Designer at our development office in Noida, you will work closely with our product and development teams to create user interfaces and visual experiences for our projects and products across desktop, mobile, and tablets. **Key Responsibilities:** - Take the lead in developing the LocalCircles Android application. - Collaborate with the Technology and product lead to implement product features on the Android App. - Manage the overall architecture of the app, including network layouts, configurations, and performance. - Conduct unit tests for code robustness, usability, reliability, and edge cases. - Coordinate with QA and product lead to identify bugs, fix issues, and enhance application performance. - Continuously explore, assess, and integrate new technologies to improve development efficiency and enhance user experience. - Work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and release new features as needed. **Qualifications Required:** - 5 years of software development experience, preferably using Java or Python. - Experience in publishing an Android app from scratch, with a minimum of 2 apps published on the Play store. - Strong knowledge of Android SDK, various Android versions, and development for multiple resolution displays. - Proficiency in Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices. - Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications. - Proficient in code versioning tools like Git, multi-threaded interface design, XML, JSON parsing, and data serialization. - Ability to investigate, define, and resolve complex problems, acting as an expert in technology issues, and developing Proof of Concepts. - Experience with Phonegap and Cordova app development is a plus. - Familiarity with automation tools for build, deployment, and testing. - Capable of handling large data sets, strong debugging skills, and perseverance.
