About the Role:
As a Security Engineering Leader, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and
managing our overall information security strategy and ensuring the confidentiality,
integrity, and availability of our systems and data. This leadership role requires a strong
understanding of information security best practices, risk management, compliance
requirements, and the ability to drive a culture of security awareness throughout the
organization.
What you will do:
1.Develop and implement an organization-wide information security strategy, including policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines
2.Establish and manage an effective information security governance framework to
ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets.
3.Conduct regular risk assessments to identify security vulnerabilities and develop
mitigation strategies.
4.Oversee the implementation and maintenance of security controls and technologies
to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other security incidents.
5.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security requirements are
incorporated into the design and development of systems, applications, and
infrastructure.
6.Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches, conducting investigations
as needed, and implementing corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
7.Keep abreast of the latest industry trends, emerging threats, and regulatory
requirements related to information security.
8.Develop and deliver security awareness and training programs to educate
employees on security best practices and promote a culture of security awareness.
9.Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including
vendors, auditors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure compliance with relevant
security standards and regulations.
10.Manage relationships with third-party security service providers and vendors,
ensuring effective delivery of security services and solutions.
11.Lead incident response planning and participate in incident response activities,
including forensics, analysis, and recovery.
12.Provide regular reporting on the status of information security initiatives, metrics,
and compliance to senior management and stakeholders.
What you should have:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2.Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) are highly desirable.
3.Proven experience in an information security leadership role, preferably in a
complex and dynamic organizational environment.
4.In-depth knowledge of information security frameworks, standards, and best
practices (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, GDPR).
5.Strong understanding of risk management principles and the ability to assess and
prioritize security risks effectively.
6.Experience in developing and implementing information security policies,
procedures, and guidelines.
7.Familiarity with security technologies and tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection
systems, vulnerability scanners, and SIEM solutions.
8.Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage and
influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
9.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to make sound
decisions in high-pressure situations.
10.Ability to stay current with emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry
trends.
11.Experience in managing security incidents and conducting investigations
