Security Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for ensuring data security and security operation of on-premises and cloud IT Infrastructure and services. This includes the management and operation of cyber security solutions, monitoring security vulnerabilities and irregularities, developing and improving security investigation and respond procedures, investigating and responding to security incidents, performing analysis of exploits, identifying attack vectors and security risks, and developing protection models. Additionally, you will collaborate with IT teams to align security measures with business needs and participate in audits, answering questionnaires, and certification audits such as ISO 27001 - 27002, NIST, CMMC, etc. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure data security and security operation of on-premises and cloud IT Infrastructure and services - Manage and operate cyber security solutions - Monitor security vulnerabilities and irregularities - Develop and improve security investigation and respond procedures - Investigate and respond to security incidents, perform analysis of exploits - Identify attack vectors and security risks, and develop protection models - Collaborate with IT teams to align security measures with business needs - Participate in audits, answer questionnaires, and certification audits such as ISO 27001 - 27002, NIST, CMMC, etc. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors/BCA degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related Engineering field - At least 5 years of experience in security engineering - Very good knowledge of IT security technologies, methodologies, and standards - Experience with development and operation of security incident response procedures - Proven hands-on experience in cyber security incident management - Good knowledge of Windows server and client operating systems - Experience with Azure cloud security and SIEM technologies - Analytical and solution-oriented thinking and acting - Good communication skills in an international environment - Independence, ability to work in a team, diligence, sense of responsibility - Fluent communication in English Additional Company Details: Rieter offers an international working environment with a long tradition, versatile activity in a future-oriented environment with a lot of self-responsibility, good development opportunities, fair employment conditions, and a motivated team with mutual respect and good cooperation.
