Security Engineer for Structured Data Protection

As a Security Engineer at our organization, you will play a crucial role in implementing and managing IT security controls across various applications and systems. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the operational management and ownership of IT security areas, as well as contributing to the development and refinement of security policies. You will be expected to provide technical expertise to support project objectives and collaborate closely with project teams to design, develop, test, and deploy secure software solutions. Troubleshooting and debugging security-related issues will also be part of your day-to-day activities. In this role, it is essential that you have expertise in cloud security, particularly Azure, along with experience in AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Proficiency in monitoring systems like Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor, as well as database management skills with MongoDB, is required. Additionally, you should possess strong Linux system administration skills, knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, and familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles. Experience in automation services through scripting is important for this role, and familiarity with encryption is a mandatory skill. You should have at least 8-10 years of experience in the field, and any of the following certifications would be considered desirable: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH). Your deliverables will include producing high-quality software code and documentation that aligns with project requirements, as well as providing regular progress reports that outline team and personal achievements.
