Job Description

SEO Manager:


We are seeking a results-oriented SEO Manager to lead our organic growth efforts. The ideal candidate will plan, implement, and manage SEO strategies that increase our site’s search engine rankings, drive qualified traffic, improve user experience, and contribute positively to overall business goals.


Responsibilities:


·        Develop, execute, and continuously refine end-to-end SEO strategy (on-page, technical, off-page) to achieve growth in organic traffic, rankings, and conversions.


·        Perform keyword research & opportunity analysis to guide content teams in generating relevant content.


·        Conduct technical SEO audits to identify issues (site architecture, crawlability, site speed, mobile responsiveness, schema, etc.) and liaise with development teams to fix them.


·        Optimize web pages including meta tags, headings, URL structures, internal linking, image optimization, content structure etc


·        Monitor and analyse SEO performance metrics: organic traffic, keyword rankings, bounce rate, page speed, click through rate, conversion rates, etc. Use those insights to propose improvements.


·        Stay up to date with latest SEO industry trends, algorithm updates, search engine guidelines and best practices.


·        Collaborate cross-functionally with content, marketing, UX/UI, design, product, and development teams to align SEO with overall business strategy.


·        Report regularly to senior management on SEO performance, growth, challenges and opportunities.


Skill & Qualification:


·        Proven experience (usually 4-5 years or more) in SEO or digital marketing roles, including hands-on implementation of strategies that drove organic growth.


·        Strong knowledge of SEO tools / analytics platforms such as Google Analytics (or GA4), Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.


·        Technical SEO understanding: site architecture, HTML/CSS, JavaScript impact on SEO, page speed, mobile-first indexing, crawlability, schema markup etc.


·        Content optimisation skills: ability to work with content creators to align content with search intent, UX, and business goals


·        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: capacity to interpret data, spot trends, diagnose issues, make data-driven decisions.


·        Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to explain SEO concepts to non-SEO teams.


·        Good project/time management: ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and priorities.
