PAYS POS (payspos.com) is a next-generation POS solutions provider helping restaurants and retailers across the US improve their operations with advanced POS systems and standalone payment devices. We are looking for an SEO Intern who has strong basic SEO knowledge and good communication skills to support our US-based SEO projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing SEO strategies to improve organic rankings and website visibility.
• Support technical SEO activities like checking site speed, indexing issues, crawl errors, and basic schema updates.
• Perform on-page optimization including meta tags, headings, URL structure, and internal linking.
• Contribute to off-page SEO tasks such as link building, outreach, and competitor analysis.
• Conduct keyword research and help optimize content for the US market.
• Work with tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, and GTmetrix (training provided).
• Monitor website performance, help prepare SEO reports, and suggest improvements.
• Stay updated with the latest Google algorithm changes and SEO best practices.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals (on-page, off-page & basic technical SEO).
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of SEO tools or willingness to learn.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and eagerness to improve.
• Ability to work the night shift (US timings) from office.
