Job Description

As a Python Automation Developer at Cisco, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing sophisticated automation solutions that leverage AI and machine learning to enhance test and validation processes. Your focus will be on developing intelligent automation frameworks, tools, and scripts to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability across various data center products and cloud services. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and deploy advanced Python automation frameworks, scripts, and tools incorporating AI techniques for enhanced test and validation processes. - Drive the adoption of AI/ML-driven techniques in test automation, including AI-based test case generation, intelligent log/defect analysis, and self-healing test frameworks. - Evaluate and integrate AI tools into the QA process to optimize system performance and accelerate delivery cycles. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define automation strategy and leverage AI for faster release cycles and reduced manual effort. - Work with cloud-native microservices in containerized environments like Docker and Kubernetes. - Ensure robust CI/CD pipeline integration for continuous testing and resolve test failures across multiple OS platforms. Who You'll Work With: You will closely collaborate with developers, product managers, QA teams, and AI specialists to identify automation opportunities, resolve issues efficiently, and drive continuous improvement. Who You Are: You are passionate about automation and eager to incorporate AI innovations into software development. You excel both independently and in team environments, possess strong interpersonal skills, and have a solid understanding of software development and automation lifecycle practices. Minimum Requirements: - 7+ years of proven experience in Python automation with knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms. - Developing automation tools and frameworks in Python, integrating AI components for validation at scale. - Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and practical applications in automation testing. - Practical experience with cloud infrastructure, microservices architecture, containerization, and orchestration technologies. - Strong debugging skills in operating systems such as Windows, ESXi, and Linux. Nice to Have: - Understanding of AI applications in automation testing using tools like scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow. - Experience in working with data center infrastructure and familiarity with Linux-based systems and databases. - Knowledge of storage networking protocols and virtualization technologies.
