SDE 3 - Backend (Java Python)

As an SDE-3 Backend at Trinka, you will lead a team of web developers and be responsible for end-to-end project development and delivery. You will code 100% of the time, set engineering examples, and assist in hiring and training the team. With over 5 years of enterprise backend web experience on the J2EE-AWS stack, you will excel in designing optimized scalable solutions and conducting high-quality code reviews to maintain highly performant, testable code with strong software design patterns. Your role will involve breaking down complex problems, estimating project efforts accurately, and optimizing cloud infrastructure and associated costs. You will collaborate with Solution Architects, Engineering Managers, Technical Project Managers, and senior developers to ensure best practices are followed around project deployment and infrastructure maintenance on AWS. Your expertise in project deployment, testing, monitoring, and observability will be key in delivering customer value in a highly collaborative environment at a user experience-focused startup. Your experience should demonstrate at least 2 years of solution architecting and 5 years of backend development experience, with a strong background in backend technologies such as databases, messaging systems, container orchestration, and CI/CD. Proficiency in AWS technologies, Python, Django/FastAPI, and developer tooling workflows is essential. Additionally, experience with Elasticsearch server cluster optimization and Apache Spark/Ray would be an added advantage.
