SDE 1 - Frontend

The Snapmint team is seeking a Frontend Developer SDE I who is passionate about collaborating with product managers and fellow developers to tackle complex web development challenges. As a Frontend Developer, you will play a key role in supporting various digital projects, such as corporate and client microsites, and ensuring seamless integration with data and marketing platforms. Your responsibilities will also include driving automation initiatives and ensuring the completion of automated test scripts for new features. We are looking for a skilled Frontend Engineer who can contribute to Snapmint's success by analyzing problems, proposing solutions, and working closely with our dedicated product development team. To be considered for this role, you should have a BE/BTech degree or equivalent qualification with 1-3 years of work experience. You must possess 1-3 years of hands-on experience in React and demonstrate a strong understanding of JavaScript. Proficiency in Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS is essential for building modern web applications, along with a solid grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles. Prior exposure to PostgreSQL and MongoDB would be advantageous. Preferred qualifications include a proven track record of effective communication with users, technical teams, and senior management. You should have substantial experience in systems architecture design and development, as well as a strong background in building single-page and progressive web applications. Familiarity with test-driven development practices and the ability to manage and construct large, intricate web applications efficiently are highly desirable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication abilities, self-motivation, and innovative thinking are key attributes we are looking for in a candidate. Additionally, strong project management skills, including the capability to handle multiple projects concurrently, are crucial for success in this role.
