Scrum Master

Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Scrum Master to guide our teams in applying Agile principles, practices, and frameworks (Scrum/Kanban). The Scrum Master will act as a servant-leader and coach, ensuring that the team is empowered, self-organizing, and continuously improving while delivering high-quality products on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives).

• Remove impediments and blockers that hinder team progress.

• Coach the development team, product owner, and stakeholders on Agile principles and best practices.

• Ensure that Agile values and practices are followed consistently.

• Support the Product Owner with backlog refinement and prioritization.

• Track and report team progress through metrics such as velocity, burndown charts, and sprint goals.

• Foster collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement within the team.

• Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and customer focus.

• Coordinate across teams to manage dependencies and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Required Skills :

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field.

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master (typically 26 years depending on role seniority).

• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS).

• Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.

• Ability to coach and mentor team members at all levels.

• Knowledge of tools such as Jira, Trello, Rally, or Azure DevOps.

• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) is preferred.
