Job Overview

We are looking for a strong and experienced SAS Developer with a solid background in data analytics and credit risk modeling within the banking or financial services domain. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAS Base, SAS Macros, and SAS DI Studio, along with strong SQL skills and a clear understanding of ETL and data governance processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize SAS programs for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Work on credit risk analytics and risk modeling projects for banking or financial clients.
• Develop and maintain ETL workflows using SAS DI Studio.
• Collaborate with business analysts and data teams to deliver efficient, data-driven solutions.
• Ensure adherence to data governance and quality standards.
• Perform data validation, transformation, and reporting tasks.
• Optimize SAS code for scalability and performance.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience with SAS Base, SAS Macros, and SAS DI Studio.
• Proven experience in credit risk analytics or risk modeling in banking or financial domains.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data governance.
• Solid SQL knowledge with experience in complex query development.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with Python or PySpark for data processing and analytics.
• Exposure to cloud-based data platforms or big data ecosystems.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹336,945.35 - ₹1,503,421.01 per year
