Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Downloading SAS Depot to VM
Copy Depot to Linux VM and create SAS Software Depot
Perform SAS Installation, Log Review, Root Cause Analysis in case of issues. Verify installation components. Start SAS Services
Invoke SAS Foundation by using ./sas -nodms
Check for the status of SAS services by ./sas.servers status
Check for SAS Management Console to validate
Verify that License is valid and not expired.Give proc setinit; run;
Perform a test run and write sample scripts and execute
Depot File Extraction, validating Depot Content
Create any External Accounts, resolve permission Issues
Validate Environment Setup like Disk Space and Permissions
Verify Windows Server compatibility (e.g., version, licensing, size, and image availability) in the Azure environment. Compatibility must be confirmed with:
Azure VNet and subnet configurations
SAS client application requirements
Security and compliance policies
Good communication skills with analytical abilities in doing problem solving activities.
