Job Summary:

• We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP Project System (PS) Consultant to lead the PS workstream in a greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementation for a leading manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP PS, particularly in the context of project-based manufacturing, capital projects, and integration with other SAP modules like FI/CO, MM, SD, and PP.

• This role requires strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across business and IT functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end SAP PS stream in an S/4HANA implementation project.
• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Design and configure SAP PS solutions tailored to the needs of a manufacturing organization.
• Define WBS structures, networks, milestones, cost planning, budgeting, and settlement profiles.
• Integrate SAP PS with FI/CO (controlling and capital investment projects), MM, SD, and PP modules.
• Lead workshops and blueprinting sessions with business stakeholders and process owners.
• Support data migration strategy and activities for PS objects.
• Coordinate with ABAP developers for custom developments, reports, and enhancements.
• Prepare and execute unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Support cutover planning and post-go-live hypercare activities.
• Provide training to key users and ensure knowledge transfer to internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with industry best practices and internal control standards.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• 10–12 years of total experience in SAP, with at least 6+ years of deep hands-on experience in SAP Project System (PS).
• Minimum of 1–2 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation projects, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
• Strong understanding of project-based manufacturing and capital project processes.
• Experience in integration of SAP PS with other SAP modules – FI/CO, MM, SD, PP.
• Proficient in configuration of WBS, Networks, Cost Planning, Budgeting, Progress Analysis, Settlement Rules, and Results Analysis.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and agile project delivery models.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a team of junior consultants if required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP S/4HANA certification in Project Systems or related modules.
• Experience with manufacturing execution and project procurement integration.
• Exposure to tools like SAP Solution Manager, Jira, or other ALM platforms.
• Knowledge of Fiori apps and user experience in S/4HANA.
