SAP PP Consultant

As an experienced SAP PP Consultant specializing in Production Planning & Control (Discrete Industries), you will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and optimizing SAP PP solutions to align with specific business processes. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth production operations and successful integration with other business modules. **Key Responsibilities:** - Independently manage SAP PP configuration and implementation activities - Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in Production Planning - Actively contribute to solution design and process improvements - Gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into technical specifications - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective integration with modules such as MM, SD, QM, and WM - Involve in unit testing, integration testing, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) - Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production planning workflows, master data, and transactional data - Prepare and maintain documentation for process flows, configuration, custom developments, and end-user training materials - Participate in team discussions, brainstorming sessions, and continuous learning to adopt the latest SAP methodologies and updates relevant to discrete manufacturing - Provide post-implementation support, handle change requests, and contribute to problem-solving and innovation **Qualification Required:** - Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP PP - Discrete Industries - Strong understanding of production planning processes, discrete manufacturing, and related SAP configuration - Proficiency in SAP PP master data management, MRP, Capacity Planning, Shop Floor Control, and Production Orders - Experience in troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning in SAP PP - Familiarity with SAP integration with MM, SD, and other modules - Experience in SAP S/4HANA, exposure to interfaces (IDOCs, BAPIs), knowledge of ABAP debugging, and involvement in data migration and go-live support are considered advantageous for this role,
