SAP GTS Consultant

As a Senior SAP GTS Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to lead and manage the Foreign Trade domain, focusing on export control and customs within the SAP GTS framework. You will play a crucial role in advising business units on IT strategy and implementation in alignment with the target architecture. Your expertise will be instrumental in strengthening the SAP Foreign Trade team during a global SAP S/4HANA transformation. In this role, you will be tasked with designing and implementing business solutions in SAP GTS while ensuring compliance with the governance model. Your duties will also include customizing applications, conducting functional and integration testing, and providing support for user acceptance testing. Additionally, you will be required to develop IT concepts to guide the development team, evaluate and recommend suitable applications and tools, and oversee the contributions of external service providers in various projects. You will serve as the primary contact for external service providers and manage their involvement in projects. Furthermore, you will be responsible for offering comprehensive support for SAP Foreign Trade applications, add-ons, and subsystem interfaces. Collaboration with internal stakeholders in a global, cross-functional environment will be a key aspect of your role. You will also dedicate up to 20% of your time to Level 2 and 3 support activities. To excel in this position, you should possess a degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience as an SAP consultant in logistics, with a focus on SAP GTS, is required. Your expertise should include in-depth knowledge of GTS Export Management, cross-module integration, and end-to-end process understanding, particularly in quote-to-cash cycles. Hands-on experience in designing and implementing SAP GTS processes within S/4HANA environments is highly desirable. International work experience outside India, along with a solid understanding of export control regulations such as those from the US, Europe, and Germany, is preferred. A collaborative mindset, analytical thinking, assertiveness, and a customer-centric approach are essential qualities for success in this role. Excellent diplomatic and communication skills, along with fluent English proficiency, are necessary, while proficiency in the German language would be advantageous.,
