Job Description

Job Summary:

The SAP GRC and Security Consultant is responsible for implementing and managing SAP security roles and authorizations while ensuring compliance through SAP Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tools. This role ensures secure access across SAP systems, supports audits, and helps maintain internal controls aligned with business and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, configure, and manage SAP security roles and profiles across modules (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, etc.)
Implement and support SAP GRC modules including Access Control (ARM, ARA, EAM, BRM)
Conduct risk analysis, role remediation, and segregation of duties (SoD) checks
Perform user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access reviews
Collaborate with audit and compliance teams to support internal/external audits
Monitor and troubleshoot security issues and provide timely resolution
Develop and maintain documentation for security design, standards, and procedures
Work with business units to gather and analyze security requirements
Participate in GRC upgrades, patching, and configuration activities
Stay current on SAP security trends, updates, and best practices

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
3+ years of experience in SAP Security and GRC implementation and support
Strong knowledge of SAP user administration, role design, and SoD principles
Hands-on experience with SAP GRC Access Control components
Familiarity with SAP authorization concepts across modules (FI, MM, SD, HR, etc.)
