SAP Functional Consultant

As an SAP SD Functional Consultant, you will utilize your secondary expertise in platforms like SAP Ariba to lead end-to-end cloud procurement solution implementations. This includes conducting requirement gathering, design workshops, solution consulting, system configuration, and preparing key documentation such as BRD, Config Workbooks, IAD, HLD, LLD. Your role will involve developing test strategies, test scenarios, and scripts, as well as overseeing UAT and offering post-go-live support. You will also be responsible for analytics, reporting, and delivering focused training (TTT). Collaboration with clients and stakeholders, sharing knowledge, providing internal training, and contributing to best practice development to enhance organizational competency will be essential. Your responsibilities will extend to acting as a partner with GEP for processes and acting as a liaison between clients and internal teams, including Technical Support, Engineering, and Client Implementation. You will analyze business requirements and design SAP SD solutions accordingly, configuring and customizing SAP SD module components such as Sales Orders, Pricing, Billing, Shipping, Credit Management, and Partner Determination. Integration with other SAP modules like MM, FI, and WM will also be part of your duties. You will conduct unit testing, integration testing, and provide support for user acceptance testing (UAT). Detailed functional specifications for custom developments and enhancements will need to be prepared by you. Continuous support for SAP SD-related issues, system improvements, participation in data migration, cutover activities, end-user training, and user documentation creation will be crucial aspects of your role. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and drive process improvements will also be expected from you. Requirements for this role include a Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, engineering, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience as an SAP SD Functional Consultant. You should possess strong hands-on experience in SAP SD configuration and business processes, have been involved in full-cycle SAP implementation projects and support roles, and be familiar with IDocs, EDI, and SAP interfaces. Understanding integration points with other SAP modules (MM, FI, etc.), excellent communication, and documentation skills, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively and efficiently are also key qualifications required for this position.,
