Job Description

Role Overview:

The SAP Functional Architect plays a strategic role in designing and implementing SAP solutions that align with business goals and digital transformation initiatives. This role involves leading cross-functional SAP projects, defining architecture roadmaps, and ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant SAP environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design & Implementation:

Translate current and future business needs into SAP solution requirements.
Design and lead SAP implementations and upgrades across modules like Finance, Supply Chain, HR, and PLM.
Create and maintain a business-aligned SAP roadmap supporting transformation and governance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work with teams across InfoSec, Procurement, Finance, and Operations to ensure integrated and secure SAP solutions.
Lead vendor management, contract negotiations, and performance assessments.

Compliance & Integration:

Develop and enforce global SAP policies and standards (e.g., SOX compliance).
Integrate SAP systems with PLM and other enterprise platforms to support lifecycle management.

Performance & Optimization:

Define KPIs and analyze SAP performance metrics.
Drive continuous improvement through system tuning and process enhancements.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Provide training, gather feedback, and ensure stakeholder buy-in for new systems and initiatives.
