Job Description

Job Summary:

SAP UI5/Fiori Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop custom SAP Fiori applications using
SAPUI5, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
.
Work with SAP Gateway and OData services to consume backend data.
Extend and customize standard Fiori applications (Fiori Elements, Smart Controls).
Collaborate with functional consultants, ABAP developers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective UI solutions.
Deploy applications on
SAP BTP / SAP Launchpad / Fiori Launchpad
.
Integrate applications with
SAP S/4HANA
, ECC, or other SAP modules (MM, SD, FI, HR, etc.).
Optimize application performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
Apply SAP UI/UX design principles to ensure a modern and user-friendly interface.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and deliver high-quality code in iterative sprints.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues related to Fiori applications.
Maintain documentation of developed applications and technical specifications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of
JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, XML, JSON
.
Hands-on experience with
SAP Web IDE / BAS / Eclipse / VS Code
.
Experience with
OData service integration
(consumption and error handling).
Familiarity with
SAP Gateway, CDS Views, and ABAP RESTful programming
.
Experience with
Git
, version control, and transport management.
Good understanding of
SAP Fiori architecture, design guidelines, and SAP UX Strategy
.
Experience with
SAP BTP, SAP Cloud Foundry
, or
SAP Mobile Services
is a plus.
