SAP BTP developer

Job Description:

SAP BTP Developer with strong Node.js skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy cloud applications on

  SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry / Kyma)

  using Node.js
• Design and build REST APIs and microservices using Node.js
  
• Work with

  SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model)

  framework
• Integrate BTP applications with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and third-party systems
  
• Manage authentication and authorization using

  SAP BTP Security services (XSUAA, IAS)

• Utilize SAP BTP services such as:
  
• Destination Service
  
• Connectivity Service
  
• SAP HANA Cloud
  
• Application Logging & Monitoring
  
• Handle database operations using

  SAP HANA Cloud

  and CDS Views
• Implement CI/CD using SAP BTP CLI and Git-based pipelines
  
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization
  
• Ensure best practices for security, scalability, and cloud architecture
  
• Work closely with functional consultants and frontend developers for integrations
  

Required Skills:

• 3+ years experience in

  SAP BTP development

• Strong experience in

  Node.js

  and JavaScript
• Hands-on experience with

  SAP CAP (Node.js)

• Experience with

  SAP BTP services

  (XSUAA, IAS, Destinations, Connectivity)
• Knowledge of

  SAP HANA Cloud SQL

  and CDS Modeling
• Experience with REST API and OAuth2 authentication
  
• Understanding of Git, CI/CD, and DevOps basics
  
• Experience in deploying apps on

  Cloud Foundry or Kyma

• Good understanding of Microservices architecture
  
• Familiarity with SAP Integration Suite is a plus
