Job Summary:

SAP ABAP Workflow Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom solutions using

  SAP ABAP

  and

  Workflow

  technologies.
• Implement and maintain

  SAP Business Workflows

  for business processes across modules (FI, MM, SD, HR, etc.).
• Analyze functional requirements and translate them into robust technical designs.
  
• Enhance and support existing ABAP applications, reports, interfaces, and forms (Reports, BAPIs, BADIs, Enhancements, etc.).
  
• Collaborate with functional consultants, business users, and project managers to deliver integrated solutions.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in workflow execution and ABAP custom developments.
  
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  
• Participate in SAP upgrades, patching, and performance tuning activities as needed.
  
• Prepare technical documentation and user guides for developed solutions.
  
• Support deployment and post-go-live activities in production environments.
  

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years of total IT experience with at least

  5 years in SAP ABAP development

  .
• Minimum

  1–2 years of hands-on experience in SAP Workflow

  development and configuration.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP workbench tools: Reports, ALV, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements, Smart Forms / Adobe Forms.
  
• Proficiency in

  workflow triggers, tasks, containers, binding, events

  , and

  deadline monitoring

  .
• Experience in handling

  custom workflows

  and

  standard SAP workflow enhancement

  .
• Good understanding of

  SAP modules

  like MM, SD, FI, or HR for workflow integration.
• Experience working in

  hybrid environments

  with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP Certification in ABAP or Workflow (optional, but preferred).
  
• Experience with

  S/4HANA

  environments and

  Fiori-based workflow triggers

  .
• Exposure to

  SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)

  and

  Cloud Workflow

  is a plus.
