Salesforce Test Engineer

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QE Tester with 45 years of experience in testing Salesforce applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in functional, regression, and automation testing within the Salesforce ecosystem, and a strong understanding of QA methodologies and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies.
• Design, develop, and execute test cases for Salesforce applications including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom components.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Provar, or similar.
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Azure DevOps.
• Ensure test coverage and traceability of requirements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Provide timely and accurate QA status reports and metrics.

Qualifications:

• 45 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years focused on Salesforce applications.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, workflows, validation rules, and custom objects.
• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Provar, TestNG).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab.
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries and working with relational databases.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder).
• Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• Knowledge of performance and security testing practices.
