About the Role

Automation QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and define Salesforce-specific test strategies.

• Ensure full testing coverage and develop scripts aligned with automation standards and best practices.

• Build and maintain automated tests for functional, regression, and performance testing using tools like Selenium and Apex.

• Execute manual and automated test cases, analyze results, log defects, and follow up through resolution.

• Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and data sets using X-Ray test management tool.

• Contribute to ongoing improvements in QA processes, workflows, and quality benchmarks.

• Track testing progress, defect status, and quality metrics for reporting to stakeholders.

• Assist in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving test findings.

• Stay updated with industry-leading tools, methodologies, and Salesforce-specific testing techniques.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

• 6+ years of QA experience with hands-on automation exposure.

• Strong experience testing Salesforce applications.

• Expertise in automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit.

• Strong documentation skills for test plans and test cases.

• Knowledge of Salesforce technologies including Apex, SOQL, and Visualforce.

• Solid understanding of testing methodologies and integration testing.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.

• Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced remote environment.

• Strong communication and stakeholder-handling skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Developer).

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git.

• Prior experience working in Agile development teams.
