Salesforce Devops Architect

As a Technical Architect - DevOps at Salesforce, you have a crucial role in advising, designing, and managing deployment orchestration solutions for complex Salesforce implementations. Your collaboration with Delivery Managers, Technical Architects, Solution Architects, and Account Teams, as well as direct engagement with clients, is key to architecting DevOps solutions tailored to specific needs. Your goal is to ensure that solutions align with industry best practices for long-term customer success. Your responsibilities include: - Collaborating with client stakeholders to define requirements and deliverables - Assessing existing DevOps processes and tools to recommend improvements - Designing and implementing best-fit DevOps solutions - Driving the selection and implementation of DevOps tools and technologies - Leading DevOps design sessions and documenting best practices - Developing and enforcing DevOps frameworks and governance models for consistency - Overseeing and governing Salesforce projects - Ensuring successful continuous delivery deployments - Supporting pre-sales activities To excel in this role, you need: - 10+ years of CRM experience, with at least 8 years specifically on the Salesforce platform - Expert knowledge of the Salesforce product suite - Strong understanding of environment management, release management, version control best practices, and deployment methodologies - Experience with various CI/CD tools, version control systems, software configuration management, Docker, test automation, code quality tools, performance monitoring, security integration into CI/CD pipelines, and more A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, or equivalent experience is required. Salesforce certifications or the ability to obtain them upon hire are also necessary. Your evaluation will be based on core proficiencies, including leadership roles, military experience, volunteer work, and professional background. This role may involve travel to client sites as needed, estimated at 50-75%.
