Salesforce Developer

Position Purpose:

A Salesforce Developerdesigns, builds, and optimizes custom solutions within the Salesforce platform to meet specific organizational needs.This includes creating custom applications, configuring CRM workflows, and integrating Salesforce with external systems.Use Salesforce tools like Apex, VisualForce, and Lightning components to create tailored solutions.  Developers help solve complex problems related to custom Salesforce development: platform customization, custom system integration, and app development for customers using both code and no-code tools.

• Qualification:

  A bachelor's degree in IT, computer science.  Technical certification in Salesforce Administration, Salesforce Developer-1, Salesforce Developer-2 (for Senior Role).

• Experience: 6

  + years of developer experience with Salesforce.Strong understanding of Salesforce products and services (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, etc).  High level of skill set in handling APEX classes, LWC and out of the box configuration, API, 3rd party integration like connecting with SAP, Azure etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Develop Custom Applications:

  Build applications tailored to the organization's needs, leveraging Salesforce's platform and tools.

• Configure CRM Workflows:

  Customize Salesforce workflows to optimize business processes and improve efficiency.

• Integrate Salesforce with External Systems:

  Connect Salesforce with other applications and systems to streamline data flow and enhance functionality.

• Collaborate with Stakeholders:

  Work with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure solutions meet business needs.

• Test and Debug Applications:

  Ensure the stability, performance, and security of Salesforce applications, identifying and resolving issues.

• Maintain and Document Solutions:

  Keep Salesforce solutions updated, optimize performance, and provide documentation for ongoing maintenance and support.

• Provide Technical Support:

  Offer technical support to users and other developers within the organization.

Technology Background:

• Technology Stack:

  Salesforce Apex, Lighting UI, Experience Cloud, Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, FSL, Agent force, and Salesforce API & Tools.

• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC):

  Knowledge of the phases involved in software development, from planning to deployment.

• Agile Methodologies:

  Understanding and experience with Agile frameworks like Scrum.

• Version Control Systems:

  Familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps for managing code.

• Understanding of CRM Principles -

  Knowledge of CRM concepts and best practices.

• Strong Coding Skills -

  Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

• Problem-Solving Skills -

  Ability to troubleshoot issues and identify solutions.

People Management:

• A Salesforce developer's role can extend into people management.They canlead teams, guide junior developers, and contribute to the broader organizational needs of a Salesforce implementation.

• Team Lead/Senior Developer:

  As Salesforce developers gain experience, they often take on leadership roles, managing junior developers, and guiding them through projects.
