Sales Engineer

As a Sales Engineer- New Sales at Schindler India, you will contribute to enhancing the quality of urban life by providing elevator and escalator solutions for buildings and transportation hubs. Your role involves the following key responsibilities: - Estimation: - Configuration of elevator/escalator solutions and price estimation for the sales team. - Optimizations and value engineering to ensure a competitive value proposition and increased probability of winning projects. - Solution and Engineering: - Understanding project requirements from field sales and proposing correct technical solutions beyond standard offerings. - Internal Coordination: - Multitasking and engaging with internal key stakeholders, project management team, logistics, and relevant authorities involved in a project. - Monitoring progress of material production and dispatches. - Data Discipline & Internal Stakeholders Management: - Ensuring data hygiene, capturing relevant market data in SHAPE, supporting documentation work associated with orders, and updating SHAPE periodically. Qualifications required for this role: - Education: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Science is mandatory. - Professional Experience: - 3 to 5 years of previous work experience in sales, estimation, solution engineering, or elevator technical field is preferred. - Languages: - Fluency in English and area-specific local language is preferred. - IT Skills: - Experience with SAP, MS Dynamics, Sales Force, or relevant CRM software. - Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint). - Professional Skills: - Methodical approach, strong on process adherence, ability to deep dive into process, product, and system. - Proactive communications, customer-centric approach, analytical thinking through data analysis, and target-oriented focus.
