Ruby on Rails

As a Ruby on Rails Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing highly performant enterprise scale web applications. Your experience of 5+ years in engineering should include working with Ruby on Rails, REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, messaging, various databases, and Python. Knowledge of Jenkins, Postman, cloud services in AWS and/or Azure, and making architectural decisions on coupling, APIs, and non-functional requirements is essential. You should have expertise in Git, unit test frameworks, and experience with serverless/containers/VM environments. Working with agile software development methodologies and applying best practices will be part of your responsibilities. Excellent communication skills are a must for this role. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and develop highly performant enterprise scale web applications - Work with Ruby on Rails, REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, messaging, various databases, and Python - Utilize Jenkins, Postman, AWS and/or Azure cloud services - Make architectural decisions on coupling, APIs, non-functional requirements - Demonstrate expertise in Git, unit test frameworks, and serverless/containers/VM environments - Collaborate within agile software development methodologies and best practices **Qualifications Required:** - Minimum 5+ years of engineering experience - Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, and Python - Experience with Jenkins, Postman, AWS and/or Azure cloud services - Strong knowledge of Git, unit test frameworks, and agile software development methodologies - Immediate availability and willingness to commit to a 6 to 12-month contract - Excellent communication skills The company operates on a contractual/temporary basis with a 6-month initial contract length. The work location is in-person at Pune. The schedule is Monday to Friday.
