Ruby on Rails Developer

As a Ruby on Rails Developer, your role involves designing, developing, and deploying robust, scalable, and secure web applications using Ruby on Rails. You will be responsible for writing clean, maintainable, and efficient Ruby code following best practices such as TDD and continuous integration. Additionally, you will manage and optimize databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL within an AWS environment. Utilizing various AWS services for application deployment, scaling, and management will also be part of your key responsibilities, including EC2, S3, RDS, Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda, and SQS. Implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments on AWS is crucial, along with collaborating with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders. Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to application performance and AWS infrastructure, as well as staying up-to-date with new technologies and best practices in RoR and AWS, are also part of your responsibilities.
