Hiring: Senior Ruby on Rails Developer (Rails 8, System Architecture, AI-assisted Development)

We’re looking for a senior-level Ruby on Rails engineer who thrives on building elegant, scalable systems and has a clear, disciplined approach to coding and communication.

You’ll fit right in if you:

Have deep experience with Ruby on Rails 7+, and ideally some exposure to Rails 8’s new architecture patterns (Turbo 8, Propshaft, importmaps, etc.)

Think like an architect, not just a coder — able to design modular, maintainable systems with clarity and purpose.

Are in the habit of TDD (Test-Driven Development) and believe in code that’s both clean and verified.

Have experimented with or are curious about AI coding assistants and agents, but use them within a thoughtful development process — not as shortcuts.

Communicate clearly, think rigorously, and document well enough that others can build confidently on your work.

Bonus points if you’ve worked with:

Hotwire, StimulusReflex, or ViewComponent

AI-assisted workflows (Cursor, Cody, v0.dev, etc.)

Background jobs, caching layers, or service-oriented architecture
