Job Description

Role Overview: You should have at least 3+ years of work experience and possess very good knowledge in Isaac Sim, ROS2, Python, C++, and Linux. Your role will involve working on various aspects of robotics including kinematics & dynamics, control theory, sensor integration, package development, TF & URDF, motion planning, collision checking, grasp planning, integration with ROS, simulation setup, physics simulation, and ROS bridge. Key Responsibilities: - Demonstrate expertise in kinematics & dynamics by working on forward and inverse kinematics, Jacobians, and motion planning. - Utilize control theory concepts such as PID controllers, trajectory tracking, and feedback loops. - Integrate sensors like LiDAR, cameras, and IMUs, and process their data effectively. - Develop custom ROS packages in C++ or Python for efficient package development. - Work with TF & URDF to describe the robot, manage transforms, and frames using MoveIt. - Implement motion planning using OMPL and planning pipelines for efficient navigation. - Conduct collision checking by understanding the planning scene and environment. - Plan grasp strategies for manipulation tasks. - Integrate with ROS by configuring MoveIt with your robot URDF/SRDF and Isaac Sim. - Set up simulations by creating environments, importing URDF/SDF models in Isaac Sim. - Understand physics simulation using PhysX and contact dynamics for realistic simulations. - Establish a ROS bridge to connect Isaac Sim with ROS for real-time simulation. - Simulate sensors like cameras, LiDAR, and depth sensors for comprehensive testing. Qualifications Required: - At least 3+ years of relevant work experience. - Proficiency in Isaac Sim, ROS2, Python, C++, and Linux. - Strong understanding of kinematics & dynamics, control theory, sensor integration, package development, TF & URDF, motion planning, collision checking, grasp planning, integration with ROS, simulation setup, physics simulation, and ROS bridge. Please Note: This is a Full-time position with the possibility of being Contractual / Temporary for a contract length of 12 months. The work location is in person.,
