Description
As a Network Engineer at our company, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and be involved in a wide range of global projects, mergers, divestitures, and initiatives. This role will allow you to gain valuable expertise in areas such as business, industrial and PCN network systems, automation, wireless (RF) protocols and devices, Azure networking, and network security mechanisms. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, implementing, and maintaining business and industrial communication solutions to solve business problems and provide value to various business functions. - Participating in the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of the network infrastructure. - Analyzing network security needs and designing solutions that meet business requirements for protection, standardization, efficiency, scalability, supportability, and cost-effectiveness. - Configuring collaboration services, dial plans, and troubleshooting. - Gathering requirements and interacting with multiple internal and external stakeholders to design and engineer the network infrastructure to support Network products. - Creating technical design documentation and implementation/test plans. - Providing comprehensive tier-3 support for operational teams, including working with and coordinating vendors and service providers. - Interacting with global peers within the network design, operation, and other support teams to support change implementations and solve challenging escalated problems. - Implementing and maintaining processes, procedures, and associated plans for network infrastructure, including administration, usage, and disaster recovery. - Using ticketing and change management systems to track incidents and changes. - Participating in BCP and DRP events and exercises as part of a team supporting the overall network and business environment. - Developing and implementing solutions and processes to maintain the reliability, effectiveness, and efficiency of network security infrastructure components across the enterprise and associated process control environments. - Working with project managers, team members, architects, business units, and other stakeholders to create agile solutions, identify continuous improvement opportunities, and create new or improved processes and automation to support step changes in operational efficiencies. - Following standard change management processes and practices when introducing technical changes to the environment. - Developing and sharing best practices with other teams. In addition to the technical responsibilities, you should have top-notch troubleshooting skills, keep up with industry trends, and work well in a team. If you have experience working with cross-functional teams, vendors, disaster recovery, business continuity planning, and network security protocols and tools, you will be a great fit for this role.
