Research Scientist/Engineer - Computer Vision/Machine Learning/Image Processing

You should possess a Post-Graduate degree in engineering, computer science, or mathematics, along with more than 5 years of relevant experience. Your knowledge should encompass computer vision, image processing, and machine learning, including scale invariant descriptors, high-dimension classifiers, and Deep learning methods. Previous experience with OCR and document lifecycle management will be beneficial. Your role will require you to swiftly prototype and assess algorithms, as well as devise practical solutions for intricate problems. Proficiency in C++ and an understanding of Multi-threading, concurrency, parallelism, and synchronization are essential. You should also have experience with code and memory profiling tools, build and configuration tools, and Distributed computing platforms. Moreover, exceptional written and verbal technical communication skills are crucial. You should be adept at simplifying complex solutions into easy-to-understand terms. Being resourceful, collaborative, creative, results-driven, and an adaptable team player are qualities that will be highly valued. For preferred qualifications, a PhD or MTech in computer vision, machine learning, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 2 years of industry experience is desirable. Additionally, experience in Distributed computing platforms and developing compact vision algorithms on Mobile platforms would be advantageous.
