Research Assistant

Responsibilities

• Support the CTO in all patent-related activities, including literature review, technology landscape analysis, and patentability assessments.
• Prepare, draft, and review patent documents (invention disclosure forms, claims,technical specifications).
• Manage patent portfolios, monitor status of applications, and maintain organized records.
• Assist with research related to new and emerging robotics technologies with patent potential.
• Liaise with inventors, legal teams, and patent offices for documentation, filing,and prosecution of patents.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant global patent laws and robotics innovations.
• Prepare regular reports regarding the status and impact of company patents.
• Ensure compliance with all IP policies and best practices.
  

Key Skills

• Minimum 2 granted patents (first or lead inventor) in technological areas (please specify patent titles and registration numbers in CV).
• Strong understanding of the patent process, from invention disclosure through grant and maintenance.
• Excellent technical writing and analytical skills.
• Experience preparing patent documents and reports with attention to legal and technical detail.
• Good organizational and project management skills.
• Proficient in relevant software tools for patent and literature searches.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
• Desire for a long-term, growth-oriented position.
• Good to have research Experience
